Below are side panel comparisons between the older CI-7008/7004 and the new CI-7004D2.

        You can see that the ventilation holes are now placed higher, bringing it closer to the power supply. Personally, I prefer the older placement because it sits above the Alpha heatsink fans that I use. Nevertheless, the new location is suppose to aid the ATX form factor airflow better.


And here we have the side panels removed, as you can see, nothing has changed inside. The cases are still spacious and clean, providing versatile environments for your valuable system components.

I am sure those yellow and black clips next to the expansion slots have once again caught your attention!
